Entry Conditions

XYRALITY GmbH, companies register Hamburg HRB 115332, is the host of the "Lords & Knights Video Contest".

The competition is open to users acting with full legal capacity or with the written consent of their parent or legal guardian.

By entering the competition the users accept these Terms of Service.

Entrance is effected by uploading a video and sending the link to XYRALITY GmbH by e-mail.

Persons and submitted videos are eligible for one prize only.

Videos are hosted on the website www.youtube.com.

Submitted videos will be embedded on the website www.facebook.com/lordsandknights with a link to the respective entrant's YouTube channel.

All entrants are hereby expressly notified that XYRALITY GmbH is not calling for copyright violations to be committed in the production of entrant videos. XYRALITY GmbH reserves the right to exclude videos that violate copyrights from the competition.

The winner will be decided by a panel of judges appointed by XYRALITY GmbH.

By uploading their video, the entrant agrees that their name and submitted video may be used free of charge by XYRALITY GmbH and participating partners for promotional purposes in media selected at the discretion of XYRALITY GmbH. Any and all rights of use, ownership and reproduction of the submissions will become the property of XYRALITY GmbH in perpetuity throughout the universe.

The entrant understands that s/he as the submitting user bears full responsibility for any and all activities undertaken in her/his name on the website www.facebook.com/lordsandknights.

The entrant must provide the technical means (Internet connection, computer, video camera, etc.) required to enter the competition at their own cost.

The entrant undertakes to forgo any and all activities that impair or might impair the functioning of the competition website.

The entrant may not use the competition for commercial purposes of any kind, for their own or for third-party advertising purposes.

XYRALITY GmbH will coordinate the formalities for handing over the prize with the winner.

XYRALITY GmbH reserves the right to exclude or delete submissions from the competition at its own discretion and without providing a reason at any time. This will apply in particular if XYRALITY GmbH must assume that the entrant is in breach of these Terms of Service or has failed to comply with material principles of the Terms of Service.

The user as the source of the content will bear exclusive and unlimited responsibility for all videos, data, texts, music, sounds, photos and other materials that are stored, published or transmitted as part of the submission to the competition hosted by XYRALITY GmbH.

The entrant guarantees that s/he owns all rights to the submitted content and that it does not infringe on any third-party rights of any kind, any legal provisions or these Terms of Service. In the event that the entrant is found to be in breach of one or more of these guarantees, s/he will indemnify and hold harmless XYRALITY GmbH against any and all liability toward third parties.

XYRALITY GmbH makes no warranty or representation as to the accuracy, appropriateness or quality of the content submitted to the competition.

In the event that a minor is found to be the winner, the written consent of the parent or legal guardian will be required. Staff of XYRALITY GmbH and their relatives are excluded from the competition.

The decisions of XYRALITY GmbH are final. They can not be queried. XYRALITY GmbH reserves the right to suspend or cancel the competition if unforeseeable difficulties arise that put the integrity of the competition at risk.

Insofar as legally permissible, any and all liability for damages borne by XYRALITY GmbH or its partners, bodies, employees and vicarious agents arising out of the competition will, irrespective of legal grounds, be limited to cases of deliberate intention and gross negligence.

The competition winners will be credited the in-game currency "Gold" for the game Lords & Knights ranked as specified, whereas the first place winner will also receive a Lords & Knights Beer tankard.

No cash reimbursement, payment in tangible assets or exchange of the prize is possible. The prize may only be transferred after prior agreement.

The deadline for submissions is 20 June 2014. XYRALITY GmbH may extend the deadline by up to 6 months at its own discretion. This will not give rise to any claims for entrants.

XYRALITY GmbH assures the highest standard of data protection possible within the framework of the competition and observes all applicable legal provisions. XYRALITY GmbH will not pass on any personal information or sell any addresses to third parties. The entrants' personal data will be stored exclusively for the purpose of the competition. The entrant hereby expressly agrees to the storage and use of their personal data for the aforementioned purpose.

XYRALITY GmbH reserves the right to amend the Terms of Service effective for the future. XYRALITY GmbH may notify of amendments to the Terms of Service by publishing information or links on the website www.xyrality.com and by e-mail.
